AHAHAHAHAHAHA, ROFLPMP, <VVVBG>.

They have all* caused me bloody grief. So much so that I'm not prepared
to try another distro until it has been out for two years. I like
watching other people bleed. {:-)

* all being RedHat, Caldera, TurboLinux, Suse and Debian. Slackware,
Yaddrassil, Mandrake and Storm were non-starters.

I have a Redhat core because it rolls onto a wider range of hardware
(old and new) first go and most employment mentions Redhat Linux. I try
others from time to time for the same reason I sell AMD cpus over Intel
- to encourage competition.

Suse is our working desktop (i.e. the distro we do real business on)
because it just happened to roll on nicely when I was given a sample and
is still usable. Will probably keep it, again to encourage competition
and SWMBO is used to it even though not everything she needs starts with
an icon.

The others have been and gone.

It is just in the nature of the beast that all distros will cause grief
from time to time.
