sorry if this seems obvious, but what's wrong with using NT or
2000? it'd be a good idea to play around with NT/2000 if you
haven't before.
remember that you only need NT/2000 to _make_ your stand-alone
exe perl program. once it's in .exe form, you can run it on a
Win9x box without any problems (yep, i have tested this)
