I think you will find that it is not as simple as that. I find your
argument akin to the statement that wearing underpants causes you to
die.
I don't think Islam was reesponsible for the concept of Zero, but it did
come out of the middle east.
Before unions, there were (craft) lodges, which preformed the same role
and they were pre-christian.
Beaurcracy is actually a chinese "invention" and it is behind a lot of
the development of the western world.
The problem with "religions" is the various interpretations that people
give to the various teachings and the way the people/group in power run
the show.
E.G. someone has talked about Buddhism not having a conquest in its
name. This may be so, i.e. I don't know of any in my learning. However,
I do know that Buddhism seems to has as many factions and teaching
variations as the Chrisitian churches.
