[chat] 5.25" bay

Hello,

I got handed a case today which is wider than regular. The thing looks okay and
seems normal. It never had a 5.25" peripherial in it so I opened it up to
insert a CD-Rom drive.

As I slid the drive in I noticed that the 5.25" bay was slightly wider than the
5.25" drive and the screws won't reach the drive. The bay entry is 5.25" wide
but the actual bay must be 5.3" or 5.35" and leaves some room. That room might
be for some rails which were not in the bay.

I am unsure though and wonder if somebody knows anything about these sort of
cases. Do I have to use an extra insert into the bay to set the 5.25" drives
securely into the 5.25" bay or do they have extra long screws for such
instances? I had a look around web sites but can't find anything suitable.
Where may I find hardware to make my drives fit?

Thanks,

mk
