Sorry if it's a bit of topic but have been unsuccessful in gaining knowledge
elsewhere.
I've been given a ABIT BH6 motherboard and case etc from a person who tried
to flash their bios from windows.:)
I want to get this going on my little linux network at home as a test
machine.
Problem is I try and boot from a floppy to re-flash the bios and the floppy
drive just constantly whirrs away.
I have the bios file, award.exe and autoexec.bat containing "a:\awdflash
<bios name> /PY /SN /CC /CD" along with command.com, io.sys and msdos.sys on
the floppy.
Should I throw it or try and short the bios or something drastic like that?
