I agree with Jon (t). I don't know what use email inside the internal network
has. I don't need a intranet trying to become a competitor to Te;lstra. I need
an intranet to be able to download a distro of a guy who already downloaded it
and makes it available. As far as I know if you use 2.4Ghz range you need to be
non-profit and non-competitive. This intranet is not suppose to deliver any
internet services. It is only suppose to give access to content others have and
want to make avaiilable cheaply in their area circumventing the ISP.

I don't play games, don't listen to MP#s and don't do video conferencing. I
still want this wlan to come into existence simply because I think its good for
the city. It gives us choice which we don't have right now. If I want data
today I have to use my ISP. If we had a wlan I had maybe choice between using
my ISP or using data from a guy in the city via wlan. I like choice. I hate
monopolies.
