I disagree. Internet access, as in, a big fat shared public pipe, is not
feasible. However, if say Mr X knows Mr Y and Mr Y is willing to share net
access with Mr X, then, they can set up a secure tunnel between them two no
problems. As long as the Internet access is not publically available, I don't
really care. :)

Games are only one of many things possible on a wireless network. Think data
sharing, we could mirror popular data from the net, so then people wouldn't eat
into their 3GB caps ;). You could do videoconferencing, or make voice phone
calls via something like VoIP. You could listen to streaming mp3s set up by
other members, etc. The more people, the more possibilities.
