No.

No, although is it reasonable to assume that most subscribers are using it
*somewhere*?

It's already been proven elsewhere that most of what I wrote was mindless
ranting, and I apologise.  Basically, if the triple+ thing is a problem for
you, then your modem hardware is at fault, and workarounds exist.  For what
it's worth, my 33.6k ISA modem laughs at the magic sequence.

The correct course of action is most definately *not* to violently flame
the source behind the comfy security blanket of an anonymous handle.  If
you don't have the balls to stand by your opinion, then keep it to
yourself, k?
