I'm surprised to hear that. I'm over from the UK contracting and,
despite the current lull in the market, have hardly had a week go by
without interview offers etc.
Its not as busy as it has been but I've not found any problems finding
SOMETHING good.

But then you have to work in Europe and thats not anywhere as enticing
as working in Aus.
