RE: [chat] Audioline FF895 cordless phones

Yeah, my first one wasn't great quality. I wouldn't have recommend
them to anyone based on performance but the price is pretty good.
Currently you can buy the FF895-3 (with 3 handsets) for only $299.

I've recently swapped it over for a new one under warranty because the
caller id function only worked sometimes, and the base station
microphone had stopped working. It was out of the warranty period but
I said the caller id defect had always been there, and the mic stopped
working before the warranty expired.

Since then the sound quality has gotten heaps better. Maybe they
improved something without changing the model no. The caller ID seems
more reliable too.

The channel swapping function seemed totally useless on the old one,
and haven't had to use it on the new one.

Thanks,

Grant

Do you have problems with the sound quality?
I have never been satisfied with them at all.
(even swapping the channels does not seem to help).

When I am talking on the phone and music is running
in the background I can hardly understand what people
are saying on the phone.....
