Being a good neighbour, I'm helping someone fix a problem with their new
joystick for their system.
It turns out the complete system is a Win box and everything is done in
software.
The poor bloke has been having another Harvey Norman saga and even paid
$1.60/min to ring a 1902 helpline run by the joystick importer (very
dubious in my opinion). The importer says it needs software, HN says it
doesn't and it doesn't come with it.
To cut a long story short, I've borrowed it to test it on my newly built
Win98 box and it worked, no special drivers. Now all I need to work out
why the fighter pilot software dies on install. {:-).
So, the question - does anyone know how to make a Joystick work on these
Windows software soundcards ?
