A few weeks ago there was a problem with the lilo package, the new maintainer
wanted to do some active maintaining, and broke everyones system. It replaced
a good and working /etc/lilo.conf with an automatically generated and broken
one.

Its supposed to be fixed now. 

You'll have to boot with a rescue disk, edit /etc/lilo.conf and point it
to your kernel[s] then rerun lilo.

It broke my system too, now when I upgrade I check lilo.conf and rerun
lilo to see if there are any problems.
