Thanks Dan and John,
I'll get which ever is cheaper, I was thinking that if I get the faster
memory I might be able to use it when I upgrade, but the chances are
new memory would be available by then...

I found the motherboard manual (GA-686LX), it says it supports 3.3v EDO or SDRAM
168 pin DIMM, I think I have 64Megs of EDO.
It doesn't say whether you can use EDO and SDRAM at the same time
though.
