Re: [coders] 1st Post-Intro

Hey all,

Firstly I'm lurking on this list from Adelaide, not that geography
matters too much.

I'm fortunate in that writing code is something I get to do for a day
job, and it's something I love to do. During the day for the past 3
years or so I've been mostly playing with C# under .NET (during the
day) and Mono (at night) - Mono has provided a great avenue to
evangelise people to FOSS environments.

Every day-job project I've ever been involved with seems to use a
different language, so I'm also comfortable with at least Ada, Python,
PHP, Java and C - and I can write write-only code in quite a few other
languages too :-)

Most of my work lately has been at the user-interface end of the
world, although I generally like playing anywhere in user-space. I'm
getting too old for part-time kernel hacking :-)

Looking forward to what this list might become,

Michael...
