This sounds like a great idea and a venue where people who are interested in computers not just windows will be present. It's also close to Parramatta Station. We need to make a decision soon as a flyer will need to be created so that we can let people now where we will.
UNSW option is also good as well. What sort of traffic will we get there?
I have been taking my laptop to work with and everyone is starting to ask about Linux. So it would be good to have a flyer to get them thinking about it before the day, rather than at the last minute.

Software Freedom Day (SFD) draws nearer, yet I haven't seen any discussion on
the SLUG lists about what to do about it.
Allow me to make a proposal. There is a computer fair[1] on at the Parramatta
PCYC on SFD. I propose that we buy some space ($70 per table) and demonstrate
what FLOSS has to offer. If we wish to make it a two-day event, there is
another computer fair at UNSW the next day ($80 per table). It might be
preferential to spread ourselves over two days rather than having one day of
intense activity.
Of course, if anyone has other ideas, please present them :)
