Ok it will have to be the 8 speed, as at this stage, I am unable to get my hands
on the 16 speed.

Well I could certainly set up a Slackware tree, as well as a Planet CCRMA tree
for both FC1 and 2. I will probably have FC1 with me as well, as it is better
for some audio work at this stage.
